About Dr. Doreen

Dr. Doreen completed her Dental Degree at the University of Otago in New Zealand and went on to complete a further three years of full time training to specialise as an Orthodontist at the University of Sydney, where Dr. Tan was her tutor.

Dr. Doreen feels very privileged to work alongside Dr. Tan to service the Parramatta region and the wider Sydney community. 

Dr. Doreen was admitted as a Member of both the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh and the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in Field of Orthodontics. She is also a member of the Australian Dental Association as well as a full member of the Australian Society of Orthodontists.

Doreen likes to keep up-to-date with the latest technologies to provide the best patient care. Doreen has presented her research at various international Orthodontic and Dental conferences. She has also won numerous awards and published in a variety of Medical, Dental and Orthodontic Journals. Doreen has a keen interest in Sleep Apnoea and accelerated orthodontic treatment.

Doreen loves being an Orthodontist and she feels great joy in creating beautiful confident smiles for everyone. She truly believes that everyone deserves to have a great smile and she is here to help you achieve that.

Outside of Orthodontics, Dr. Doreen enjoys yoga and pilates. She loves travelling and has travelled to Nepal and Cambodia as a volunteer dentist.
